Who you got?

I'm kinda hoping we can land Mason Foster. On the cheap. And draft the 2nd ILB spot. Maybe someone like Perryman, or a late unknown "TT special".

Trade back in the early 2nd and Kendericks or McKinney maybe? I actually get the vibe this year will be like the 2012 draft with Ted Thompson putting a lot of stock in the 2nd round.

Edit: Or like 2008 with the 3 2nd round picks

We subtracted two, and I assume Lattimore is hanging by a thread too, and Bradford is still around somewhere, so that means it takes two newcomers to stay the same quantity-wise, and maybe as many as four if we were to get rid of Lattimore and Bradford. I haven't really done any independent research on draft prospects, but there have been half a dozen or so mentioned, any of which I could see as a 2nd round pick (I still want Melvin Gordon in the First). I'd also like to see the Packers pick up a mid-range Free Agent - Bruce Carter of the Cowboys the one I'm the most familiar with. I see continued use of Clay Matthews inside more than half of the time - he seemed to me to contribute more there than on the outside. If Barrington is the second best ILB, he's decent. Those two current players plus the 2nd round pick and hopefully quality FA, and we have a nice rotation. Beyond that, either Lattimore/Bradford or whatever low round or street FAs we can get to upgrade from them.

I look at ILB and OLB as two sides of the same coin. One reason I want Matthews used a lot at ILB is that I really want to see Jayrone Elliot used a LOT more at OLB.

I hope our starting LBs are on already on the squad and take the next jump. I really want to see what Joe Thomas can do. I'm sure we'll draft or pick up a guy or two that can play inside as an udrfa. I'm not too concerned about them picking one up in the first round of the draft though. I think there will be value later.
