House only played 1 snap on defense against the Falcons and when he played against the Lions, those were two of his worst games. I agree he has the height/size for matching up on bigger receivers, but his build isn't much different than Jarrett Bush.

Ideally, I would like Tramon Williams to return even if it is at a double what is paid to Davon House.

Some context here, lol. If House gets $5 million, forgot my previous statement, haha.

I think Williams is worth a 3 year deal averaging around $7 million a year.

I think House is worth a 3 year deal averaging twice the veteran minimum with escalators if he starts X amount of games.

I'd do my best to keep both of 'em in GB, I don't think Williams is only looking for the $$$. I think it's really going to depend on the Randall Cobb & Bulaga signings if they both will return.

If all four of them take home discounts, they might all return.

Let's hope they do so because each one of them has a important role in different ways.

If House thinks he is a starter will he go somewhere else if we sign Williams? I have to think it is all about the $$$ and wanting to make starting CB money. With his injuries I just can't see how anyone will give him too much unless it is on a 1 or 2 year "prove it" type of deal.

Can we not give him a bonus type of a contract where he would get X amount $ if he we're to start 10 games. Like that he will get his money if he we're to perform at least for a year or two until he proves he can maintain his health. Not worth chaulking up a big chunk of the salary when his on the bench.

House plays tough but he does get beat, usually once per game. He bounces back, though. Doesn't let it get inside his head.

At this point in time I have a very sour taste in my mouth when talking Tramon Williams. He let up 2 bad touchdown plays in the playoffs and Im have trouble getting over them. I've always liked him though but man those plays just hurt.

If he takes a home town discount for a two year deal I wouldn't complain but if I had to choose between the two I'd probably take House right

dfosterf (16-Apr) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (16-Apr) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (16-Apr) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (16-Apr) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
