I just heard that Todd McShay's mock draft has the Packers getting Melvin Gordon at #30.
I would jump for joy if that came true!

Running Back's are not highly valued anymore and there several teams ahead of the Packers who do not have a Eddie Lacy and James Starks.
James Starks for 2015: $1.175 million
Eddie Lacy for 2015: $713,401, 2016: $867,602
Melvin Gordon will most likely go around picks 20-25 although a couple teams later could snatch him too.
20 Eagles: I believe there is some contract issues with LeSean McCoy and Gordon would probably tear crap up in that Chip offense
25 Panthers: their running backs are aged quite a bit for their position
26 Ravens: Justin Forsett is 29 years old and has not yet been signed
27 Cowboys: they probably drop the money truck for Dez and let Murray walk so Gordon here makes sense
29 Colts: After giving up a 1st for Bust Richardson, why not use a 1st on Gordon?
A dark horse in the Melvin Gordon sweepstakes would be the Vikings. If they truly do not want Peterson back, they could trade down ~10 spots, acquire more picks and still get Gordon.
Bottom line though, again, Packers will not draft Melvin Gordon in the 1st round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Troy Aikman has a better chance of being the offensive coordinator for the Packers.
