LT was never quite healthy this season, mainly because his O-Line was AWFUL at run blocking. I seriously doubt he is leaving San Diego.

On the Marshall Faulk argument, he retired when he became 33... That would mean another 4 years from LDT (They're not the same players ofcourse) if they'd turn out the same.

LDT seems to be going downhill though. He might post some big numbers, but his durability is catching up with him. He's only 150 carries away from being tied with Marshall and he isn't used as a receiver type as much as Faulk was. (Not taking anythign away from both of em)

I wouldn't like this move, I'd prefer to go with an unknown but pretty great speed back to complement Grant (Tatum Bell comes to mind, I think he's one of the most underrated players).

How old is he?
What have been his injury issues this year?
How much time has he got left on his contract?

Sure! Bring him in!

He's gotta play guard, though.

30 is kinda old for a running back that has been ridden pretty hard in his prime.

I have no desire to see LT in green and gold, and as cynical as it may sound, I applaud the Chargers organization for having the courage to look at possible ways parting with him might benefit the team.

Uh yeah... past his prime you say? Maybe, but having watched quite a few Charger-matches last year I can honestly say he is way better than any of our running backs. He's still in the top 5 of the league. People just say he's lost a step because he didn't get another rushing title.

With him being 30 next season though and with an 8.8 million salary, I think he should take a pay-cut and stay with the Chargers.

There's also no way Sproles can be as effective as him, which was evidenced against the Steelers who were expecting him.

Veteran minimum offer with incentives, that would be all Ted Thompson would probably offer LT, he is sure to get a better offer.

Anyone have thoughts on what the Chargers might ask for to dump him?
