Report: Concerns Star Lotulelei won’t be available this week

The slim chance the Panthers have been given at Seattle Saturday night are based on the fact their defense is playing well.

But now there may be a huge hole in the middle of it.

HFA is a cool thing.

But playing the bottom seed is pretty cool too. However, since we completely shit ourselves playing scared in week 1, these greaseballs get a cake walk this week, instead of us.

I wonder if they'll be too intimidated to throw to Richard Sherman's side of the field.

Several things:

It was brought to my attention, conference record trumps head to head when more than two teams are involved. Therefore, you can take your pick of the three conference losses or even the fourth outside the NFC we have as to which one or all caused us to shit away HFA versus Seattle.

Also, I'm not predicting a Carolina win, but even with this setback, I'm not as negative as a lot of people about their chances.

Thirdly, a lot of teams have avoided throwing to Sherman's side this season. Seattle invites that by not flipping their corners. I wouldn't call it running scared, and I wouldn't be surprised if we did the same if we play 'em again. Just the same, I AM predicting a Packer win in a Seattle rematch. Seattle backslid a lot, then bounced back some - less than they slid; The Packers got a lot better, plateaued soon enough, and now are on the way back up. Call that Good Coaching or call It Luck, it bodes well for the rest of the playoffs.

As Texas said any one of those losses cost us HFA. To say we lost HFA because we lost to them in week 1 is very short sighted. In fact I might argue it was the least important because we still had 15 games to recover from it.

Losing to the inferior teams of New Orleans and Buffalo is why we are 12-4 instead of 14-2. That is the definition of self shitting. Any given Sunday is for evenly matched teams. If you want to be an elite teams, you don't have meltdowns like those two away games.
