When I look at the video of the running game. When they run right it is mostly a stretch play. Expect the RT to be 5-7 yards outside of his starting position. When they run to the left it is more of a delay handoff, and the LT is more withing 3-5 yards of his starting position. Of course there are exceptions.
That is due to two reasons IMO. First, right handed QB. It is easier to for the QB to move farther to the right for the hand off. When going left the QB has to spin further around, or turn opposite of his preferred direction.
Second. the build of the line. the line gets built for speed to the right and size to the left. I believe that is how they put it basically. They want a little bigger LT than RT because of QB blindside protections.
