On the other hand, do any of us want to read all the media blather that would ensue if we had a Pennsylvania Superbowl?

Wow it is getting nuts around here. This is pretty wild being an hr from PGH and now they play the hated Ravens for the trip to the Super Bowl. Image the Packers playing the Bears for a chance at the Super Bowl, I personally can't wait to see this game. I love watching them play. This is how football is suppose to be played Hard hitting and alot of defense.

Little side notes Rex Ryan is the leading candidate for the Jets job, If he goes do the Ravens players want to stay together if Ryan is gone and will Ryan want Brett on the Jets. Remember he had a defense that believed aslong as the offense don't turn the ball over they will win so they like a game manager which we all know Brett isn't. So can the Packers sign some of the Ravens defensive FA's like a suggs or Lehnord and does Brett retire or do the Jets release him and he goes to the Vikes?
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be šŸ™‚ (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Again, kindly raise your hand if you had the slightest inkling before this season began that the NFC Championship Game might be played between teams that were 9-7 and 9-6-1, respectively.

I never would have guessed it.
But once again, it shows that getting into the playoffs is what matters.
If you get in, you have a chance to win it all.
Wasn't it New England that went 11-5 and didn't even get into the playoffs?
This has to bug them........but i LOVE that "Bellicheat" didn't get in!

It makes me laugh to think back to all the preseason debates, in which people were bitching that the team might "only" be 10-6 or 9-7 this year because of the change at quarterback. Yet in the NFC, 9-7 turned out to be good enough to get to the Superbowl this year!

That's why I think the number of winning seasons you have is irrelevant. Regular season success is irrelevant except insofar as it gets you into the postseason. What's important is the number of times you make the playoffs with a team that's still healthy enough to have a chance on the field.

Or it just shows how weak the nfc has really become, Look at it this way you had 2 teams barely over 500 make the playoffs but in the afc 11-5 and you don't get in. The mob decided this year they need to make some money after all i'm sure they have lost alot with this economy so it will be something like the cards and Ravens in the superbowl with the Cards winning it all.

I'm going to have to go with the Eagles and the Ravens. Will root for the Eagles in that matchup.

If it's the Eagles and the Steelers, I'll have to go for PIT because my mom is a Steelers fan.
