A roundup of what's happening on the Green Bay Packers beat.

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Mike McCarthy's teams know how to finish out a season.

So with the Packers in prime position heading into the final four games of their schedule, it would seem there's little chance of them faltering down the stretch.

Since McCarthy took over as head coach in 2006, only two teams have better regular-season December/January records than the Packers. Here's a look at those with the best marks in that time frame:

Patriots (34-5)
Chargers (33-6)
Packers (26-11)
Eagles (27-12)
Colts (27-12)
Steelers (25-13)

The Packers couldn't be entering the final month of the season feeling better about themselves than they do now after their 26-21 victory over the Patriots on Sunday.

It is not so much that GB plays well at the end of the season as to who they are playing this year that makes it look pretty good.

Atlanta 5-7 W
@ Buffalo 7-5 W
@ Tampa 2-10 W
Detroit 8-4 W

It is always nice to see Southern teams come into GB in December. I wish they could have more of these kinds of games.

Being a road game against a team over .500, Buffalo may be the biggest challenge.

Does anyone really think they will lose in Tampa?

Playing division opponent Detroit at home should be as well but they are a dome team and it may be a big game for Lacy.

Link to a Rob Demovsky video.

He says that GB has "had no problems in the NFC South this year". I guess he forgot about the game in NO.

And just because Detroit has not won in GB since 1991 that has no bearing on the game this year. I guess he has not heard the phrase " Past performance is not an indicator of future results".

I've been saying this for years. To some degree it seems as if they are not quite ready early in the year, but to some degree I think it comes down to stat whoring. Earlier in the year, they like to pad stats, then when it comes to the stretch run, that's when they start "trying hard."

Let's hope that continues into the playoffs this year. We've got some serious momentum, and this team has been playing well.

I'm already on record in the other thread stateing I believe this Sunday will be another Packer romp.

I'll stick with that.

But......The Packers sure don't want to get caught looking ahead.

I agree The Bills game has a chance to be tougher then some think.

Hard to win on the road, anywhere, in The NFL.

Buffalo has been tough at home and when it comes to playing in 2 weeks, it will prbably be a close game.

Should be a good game. Tough opponent, but not as good as we are.

Of the game, Tampa is the one that scares me the most. We could very well be playing Det for the Division in Week 17 and looking past Tampa.

I just don't like playing Detroit the last game. I think we should be in a playoff position regardless, but they are a bunch of cheapshot artists who I am worried may injure a key player going into the playoffs. I hope we can rest guys without sacrificing a playoff position slot with that game.

dfosterf (22-Feb) : I read De'Vondre Campbell's tweet this morning (via the New York Post) Florio says that if he invested his earnings wisely, he will be good

dfosterf (20-Feb) : Hasn"t Bosa missed more games than he has played in the last 3 years?
Mucky Tundra (19-Feb) : He hasn't been too bad when healthy but I don't feel like I ever heard much about when he is
Zero2Cool (19-Feb) : Felt like he was more interested in his body, than football. He flashed more than I expected
Zero2Cool (19-Feb) : When he was coming out, I thought he'd be flash in pan.
Mucky Tundra (19-Feb) : Joey seems so forgettable compared to his brother for some reason
Zero2Cool (19-Feb) : NFL informed teams today that the 2025 salary cap will be roughly $277.5M-$281.5M
Zero2Cool (19-Feb) : Los Angeles Chargers are likely to release DE Joey Bosa this off-season as a cap casualty, per league source.
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : If the exploit is not fixed, we'll see tons of "50 top free agents, 50 perfect NFL team fits: We picked where each should sign in March" lo
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : Issue should be solved, database cleaned and held strong working / meeting. Boom!
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : It should be halted now.
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : usually spambots are trying to get traffic to shady websites filled with spyware; the two links being spammed were to the Packers website
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : you know when you put it that way combined with the links it was spamming (to the official Packers website)
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : Yep. You can do that with holding down ENTER on a command in Console of browser
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : even with the rapid fire posts?
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : I'm not certain it's a bot.
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : I've got to go to work soon which is a pity because I'm enthralled by this battle between the bot and Zero
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : Yeah, I see what that did. Kind of funny.
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : now it's a link to Wes Hodkiezwicz mailbag
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : Now they're back with another topic
