How is Sam Shields?

I'm just finishing up the 4th quarter of the game and this was a good game. Not a lot of mistakes and no turn overs.

Julius Peppers is a monster.

Davante Adams is going to see that catch slip through his hands for years. It'll motivate him.

What were your thoughts about the game?

It was intense. The guys on both teams played with a lot of passion. Packers and Patriots are for real. Now this team needs to handle success.

My first thought was that it was a relatively clean game...there weren't many blown calls or mistakes that the loser could have blamed the game on...it was just a solid hard-fought game.

I don't want to get too high on this performance. Obviously it's a great late-season feel good moment, but so was Dallas' victory over Seattle a few weeks back.

The Packers won a good game against a good opponent. Dom Capers is 1 - 5 against Tom Brady.

This also ends the Patriots 14 game winning streak vs NFC North teams too.

solid performance by all three teams (O,D and ST)

I am still trying to figure out why he refs would stop play if NE had 12 men on the field. Aaron gets that call nearly every game but the officials let the play continue. Of course there were only 11 players out there which made the call all the more strange.

The defense was probably the biggest standout to me. Yeah they allowed 3 TDs but that is pretty good against Brady and they were able to get him off of the field several times. The penalty against Tramon was BS and that should have been 4th down. Instead the Patriots ended up getting a TD on that drive, but it didn't matter in the end. [rockon]

Rodgers was great as always and made several outstanding throws. Loved his throw to Richard Rodgers for the TD. Adams was impressive minus the dropped catch which would have been a TD. Even though the offense should have scored more TDs instead of FGs, those long drives were crucial for time of possession and keeping Brady off of the field.

My thoughts are: Some of the Packers rookies were the difference in the game

1) Ha Ha Clinton-Dix: On the Patriots last drive with the Patriots trying to take the lead, Gronk runs a GREAT route, Brady makes a PERFECT throw, Gronk makes a GREAT catch and rolls in the end zone but never official got possession because Ha Ha got a hand between Gronk's hands and when Gronk rolled Ha ha's hand knocked the ball loose before Gronk's momentum stopped and lost the ball, to help the Packers keep the lead.

2) Davante Adams: He stepped it up and had a HUGE game... he missed two TDs with a drop and stepping instead of dragging his leg, Rodgers also over threw him when he was open for what would of been a TD.

3) Richard Rodgers, one long TD catch.

4) Corey Linsley, just beasting up the middle for the most part

Yes there were others too, but not sure we win if these guys didn't step up.

Wow!
They surprised me! I kept waiting for the collapse, and it never came! AR had incredible protection. The D came up huge with the sack of Brady on their last drive. The game saving first down on our last drive. The guts this team showed was impressive!
The whole team played hard and earned the win.
Seeing Brady screaming "F€£K" on the sidelines was PRICELESS!
What a fun game to watch!!!

dfosterf (26-Jun) : I think it would be great to have someone like Tom Grossi or Andy Herman on the Board of Directors so he/they could inform us
dfosterf (26-Jun) : Fair enough, WPR. Thing is, I have been a long time advocate to at least have some inkling of the dynamics within the board.
wpr (26-Jun) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
Zero2Cool (24-Jun) : Yawn. Rodgers says he is "pretty sure" this be final season.
Zero2Cool (23-Jun) : PFT claims Packers are having extension talks with Zach Tom, Quay Walker.
Mucky Tundra (20-Jun) : GB-Minnesota 2004 Wild Card game popped up on my YouTube page....UGH
beast (20-Jun) : Hmm 🤔 re-signing Walker before Tom? Sounds highly questionable to me.
