Steve, you hit on a good point. We went after them, instead of trying not to make a mistake. Maybe Mike McCarthy learned his lesson about that point.
If you play scared, you probably will lose.
If you play aggressive and still lose, at least you know you gave it your best shot and went down swinging.
And Brady, I like the guy. He's a passionate player and hates losing. You can't fault him for that. I'm just glad yesterday ended up with him cursing, and not Aaron Rodgers!

I have to give credit to McCarthy for what have been one of the best offensively called games I can remember from him. Being able to get Cobb and Starks covered by LBers coming out of the backfield. Getting Lacy going right off the bat with receptions. I think he concentrated run blocking to take advantage of the lack of lateral movement in Wilfork.

Quarless showed his physical play being able to drive defenders back off the LOS and get into his route quickly.

The different options available on offense now with a couple TE that have shown they can get some production, Lacy and Starks both being able to run or catch. And Adams becoming more confident to complement Cobb and Jordy. McCarthy should be having wet dreams every night when he thinks of what he could try with the diverse offense. I'd take this over 5 Wide every day.
