Football weather, make that Packers weather, has arrived, and with it two straight opponents had no chance the past two Sundays at Lambeau Field.
The wintry conditions will only worsen. Green Bay Packers special teams coach Shawn Slocum realizes a 53-20 win shouldn't cloud the reality that his units had problems Sunday.
"One thing about this league," Slocum said on Monday, "you better stop what you've done poorly or it will get exposed."
For as flawlessly as the offense played and explosive as the defense was, it was a downright bizarre game for Green Bay's special teams. The good? Micah Hyde returned a punt 75 yards for a touchdown. The bad? The Packers botched not one, but two extra points. The ugly? Punter Tim Masthay had a punt blocked in the fourth quarter.
