Torn ligament in his big toe, he is going to try to play through it.

Silver Lining, A. Rodgers, Shieds, Burnette and D. Jones were all full participants today.

No Lang and Sitton, yikes on the running game.

This injury news is a dagger, regardless. Even if he plays...that toe is going to affect the way he plays.

"The injury is something that if it was more severe, the specialist I saw -- well, I didn't see him, but he saw my scan -- he said they've had to do surgery on it but not typically with offensive linemen," Sitton said Wednesday. "So we feel fine that I'll be able to go the rest of the season."

Ah good, so you can go the rest of the season.

Sitton said he will test out various orthotic inserts before Thursday’s practice and will also meet with team physician Dr. Pat McKenzie to discuss whether playing would put him at risk of further damage to the torn ligament or if the issue would merely be pain management

Ok, so now we don't KNOW if we can go the rest of the season. Gotchya.

Thanks for clarifying.

Let's not get hyper about this. Torn Ligament = Sprain. Sprained big toe? not all that scary. Take him at his word, he can play normally.

Any word on how he got the injury and if he's been practicing since the game?

He tore a ligament in his big toe during The Saints game, instead of coming out of the game he gutted it out and finished.

Big Toe Torn ligament for a wr or rb is probably season ending because they would have to perform surgery.

A lineman MAY be able to play through the pain and wait till the end of the season for surgery because they put less strain on the big toe.

Now I am not a doctor and don't claim to be, but it seems pretty simple from what has been reported.

The Packers will try different supports for Sitton, hoping to find something that let's him operate at a high level.

Sitton may or may not play, they are going to give him every chance to figure out a way to get on the field.

What is so confusing???????

They are going to do everything they can to get him on the field, Sitton at 75% - 80%, is probably better than any backup who is 100%.

The reports are pretty clear to me, I guess others don't agree with my opinion.
