Stupid spell check doesn't work when you stick hyphens in between the letters. That's worthless.

Isn't there a rule against pointing out other peoples misspellings?😆

Just Kidding... though the rules here have seemed to be a lot more reasonable than most/all other sites.

We shit ourselves v Seattle. That doesn't mean we're not as good as they are.

And the D is an experiment. It's a new theory based upon the rule changes to emphasize passing offense and increase big plays and scoring. I've personally bitched about Capers and his lack of innovation for a long time, so I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt here. You have to admit they're playing better.

This is not an elite team. Circumstances may have put them in that conversation due to losses by other teams, but let's not delude ourselves.

Did we all see that Seattle game?

Detroit?

MAYBE we get hot at the end a get a shot. We won a Superbowl that way, so let's see.

Conversely, do not be at all surprised if we get our clocks cleaned in New Orleans this Sunday. Odds are, we do.

Our defense is extremely suspect, imo, for example.

I think we overreact too much week to week. Good teams lose to lesser teams all the time. It happens every week in the NFL. Seattle lost to the Rams for fuck's sake.

I will only speak for myself. Of course I over-react. It is not my fault. These dumb-asses running MY team have NO fucking clue with what to do in a certain time and circumstance in a football game, yet remain so highly paid and admired.

I should be running this franchise. Everyone gets minimum wage for this game. 😆 I think I'm funny, not as funny as anyone that bought that concept that the pack was staking a claim amongst the NFL elite.

We do have homers here.

It's hard to read TOO much into the game. It seemed that once Aaron Rodgers got injured, the entire game changed. The Green Bay Packers by and large are Aaron Rodgers. If something is wrong with him, this team is rarely going to win, especially against a top quarterback. This defense is not going to carry the Packers and haven't since 2010, really. An exception here and there doesn't change the overall trend, either. Dom Capers just can't stack up against good quarterbacks. Not many can, but he certainly cannot.

Giving the Saints short field twice didn't help matters either. I am not blasting the calls because I liked the guts it took. Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't. If they had worked, the same folks bashing McCarthy would be praising his brilliance.

No big disappointment though. We all knew we were the better team, but we also all knew we'd go down there and shit ourselves. Set your watch by it.

However, what you said about tackling was spot on. Yesterday was not a banner day for Davon House or HaHa.

beast (30-Jan) : College Coaches wouldn't want that publicly, as it would hurt recruiting and they might not get the job.
beast (30-Jan) : I thought they were supposed to publicly announce them, at least the NFL ones. Hafley was from college, so I believe different rules.
Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Who knows who they're interviewing? I mean, nobody knew about Hafley and then out of nowhere he was hired
