As the Green Bay Packers hit the practice field today Thursday, the news wasn't as rosy as we had thought as recently as yesterday afternoon. First of all, neither starting cornerback Sam Shields nor Tramon Williams were on the practice field — that's not surprising. But what was surprising was that Datone Jones seems to

Of course, that's assuming it was nothing more than a minor injury to begin with. Knowing this team his ankle was 15 minutes away from being amputated before the miraculous recovery.

It's disappointing though with these injuries he gets because they're just things that are hard to avoid. One play he beats his man and the guy trips him and against the Vikings he gets his ankle rolled up which is something that's gonna happen a lot in this sport.

Im just happy Lattimore didnt suffer a serious injury. Watching Brad Jones attempt to stop the run made me want to go play in traffic.
