Ryan was never - iirc - put into a position where the game fell on his shoulders. It happened to Rodgers almost every week, and often twice a week.

I like Ryan a lot, and I like Rodgers a lot. Mostly because I see top-line effort and drive from both of them, in addition to the other traits you want in a starting QB. As to how they'll do, I find it laughable that anyone would even try to predict that at this point for either QB. If you say you 'know that Rodgers won't be the kind of leader who can put a team on his shoulders' or the like, I heartily invite you to explain to me just
how you know that. The only thing anyone can say with any chance of being right is that, barring major injury, experience should make both of them even better as their careers progress.
The Falcons have a good young QB, as do the Packers.
