And.....wasn't the Pats coach leaving the team after the SB? I think that may have had a little to do with us beating them.
But Favre DID earn the win, no doubt.
He would have had a second win if not for Holmgren.

Thanks for clearing it up IM. I will admit Manning is a great QB. I hate it when people hate a player and all they ever say is "he sucks" Even if you think a guys overrated I don't see how any person can call a probowl athlete lousy

I doubt it. I eagerly relish every mistake he makes and every disappointment he endures. I vividly remember, toward the end of my first deployment in Iraq, jumping up and down, screaming for joy, as I watched the Steelers defeat him in the 2005 playoffs.



Because he whines and pouts after every play that doesn't go his way. If there's an incompletion, he's yelling at his receivers or lobbying the officials for a pass interference call. Any time they fail to convert on a third or fourth, he stalks off the field in a hissy fit. When things aren't going well, he sits by himself on the bunch, as far away as possible from his teammates, and sulks. He never looks like he's having fun.

If we ever endure the misfortune of a Manning vs. Manning Superbowl, I will refuse to watch it. The negativity emanating from both sidelines would be unbearable.
