Hey Veg, were those taken from the luxury box that was opened to the public? If so, we probably brushed shoulders while you were taking those pics.

Believing Ben Roethlisberger's opinion regarding head injury prevention is like believing Bill Clinton's opinion on maintaining discrete love affairs.

Well, it all depends on what you call a head injury. What you call a head injury and what I call a head injury are two different things.

🤨 You guys sure know a lot about grass
Does anyone know offhand how much higher the field is in the middle then the sideline. I'm always surprised how in real it looks a lot more sloped then tv where you don't notice it

The crown in the middle?

Not sure about the GB on if there is one..

Never been that low to the ground to see the difference.

I know Texas stadium had a real big one, and Brett complained about it a few times..

When the new grassMaster playing surface was installed, the project also involved flattening the field by reducing the crown in middle , which was 14 inches, it is now about 5 inches.

But it also include removing a concrete hump in the endzone that heavier Packers sought when they wanted to leap into the fans arms (Lambeau Leap) Any defensive tackle returning a fumble or INT for a TD in LF, will be looking for a boost to do a Lambeau Leap.**

**Source: "New Turf means fewer leap, but drier cletes " by Green Bay Press-Gazette reporter Tony Walter

I do have a complete file on anything ,you want to know about Lambeau Field. So If you want to know anything about Lambeau-- Ask--I will post an answer to your question.

One thing about being a Packer fan in Green Bay, you do get blanket coverage of the Green Bay Packers, year around and on every aspect related to the Packers. I also have over 60 years of following my hometown Packers ,since about mid 1940's I have also studied every era of the Packers from 1919 to present.

So any Packer fan on this website need a answer to any questions, he or she would like to know about the Green Bay Packers , City of Green Bay, State of Wi. etc- Just Ask!

Feel free to pm (private message) me anytime.

PWT (Phil) located in DePere, Wi., which 5 miles South of Lambeau Field.

I don't know about a concrete hump... but... the wall in the end zone used to be lower in certain sections that others and some players would head for the section where a leap was easier to do. Now the wall is an even height and high enough to make it a challenge for players with above average agility.
