To me it looked like a combination of dropped passes and non calls on pass interference.

To me, it looked like a HC who doesn't know how to run it into the end zone. Pass, incomplete, run, sack is not the way to do it on 1st and goal. McCarthy is looking tentative in his play calling close to the goal line. Almost predictable. I wish he would just pound it in there. Every time. Make them stop us, instead of ourselves.

I wonder how many of these plays are changed by Rodgers? Doesn't he have the run/pass option on all plays?

In normal play, if there is a RB in the backfield, there is almost always a run pass option. It is normally dependent on the defensive formation.

I think the issue is predictability and not running the ball, same as it has been for the past few years. Even with the good day running, we only ran 9 times that were not on 1st down. We are not forcing defenses to respect the run on any down. Sunday, the officials were letting contact go by defenders and our guys are not great at beating physical coverage.
