But there is more to a pass rush than just sacks, which is why when you look at the big picture, the Packers pressure on opposing quarterbacks -- including hits and hurries -- was inadequate. According to ESPN Stats & Information, the Packers generated pressure on just 22.5 percent of opponents' dropbacks last season, which was the second-lowest rate in the league.
Contrast that with where they stand through five games this season -- they have gotten pressure on a league-best 31.7 percent of opposing quarterbacks dropbacks, according to ESPN Stats & Info -- and it's no wonder they're feeling better about their pass rush heading into today's game at the Miami Dolphins.
