Why don't you and uffda kick this around for another 10 pages.

That's all he is fishing for.

Another thread for him to post his 100's of "Ted Thompson should be fired" posts.

Let the re-hashing begin.

I LOVE that Buck says I "know nothing about football". To mock me for researched posts is interesting. I use links and quotes to buoy my own opinions. I ask lots of questions. How you can conclude I know nothing about football and you do when you love AJ Hawk is beyond me.

Our D is rated 32nd. I couldn't care less how the season starts. I care about where it's going to end and it'll be no better than it has been the last 3 seasons.

Sherman was neither a good HC nor a good GM. You wouldn't know it looking at the posts from back then. I read them just not on this forum. Sherman was viewed as a joke from those who played for him or played the game.

TT's team has the 32nd ranked run D and best QB in the NFL. Not much has changed. Same old Ted Thompson Packers just hoping Rodgers gets hot to carry them to another one. What a great plan that is. The same exact plan Sherman had...hope Brett gets really hot when it matters. The thinking of our last two HC/GM combos (I realize Sherman had dual role) have been just brilliant.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

I'm not sure a complete football team is even attainable in these times. We've had an above average football team for quite some time now, but winning championships is so much better, which is why some of us get frustrated.

Saying Uffda knows nothing about football is ludicrous. Calling him a psseimist is a lot more accurate. The Green Bay Packers are the NFL team with the college spirit, and that permeates thorughout its fans.

With the rules favoring the offenses, defenses can't stop everything... Packers defense scheme focuses on about creating pressure on other teams passing game which puts the DL at disadvantage in the running game at times.

And with it being a passing league coaches seem to be alright with giving up running yards to save against passing points.

And yes the Packers could use an upgrade along DL as well (what teams couldn't use an healthy upgrade on the DL?)

My biggest hope is in the potential development of these younger players. *gulp*
