Which players' bandwagons are you jumping on this year? For me it's...
Sam Barrington: This guy may not be a three down ILB, but he's definitely a two down thumper who's willing to hit someone and we need that. In the game vs the Titans, flew into the hole and stuffed the snot out of the RB. I remember thinking to myself that I hadn't seen a physical play like that the past two years out of our ILBs.
Mike Pennel: A lot us gaga-ed over Colt Lyerla and his athleticism. We wondered if Ted scooped up a first round talent for peanuts. We espoused that Green Bay was the perfect place for a reclamation project like him. But Colt got hurt and then the preseason games started this guy started sticking out. At first I thought he was just cleaning up vs backups and was a DII wonder. The more research I did, the more my opinion changed.
Mike Pennel shows promise at nose tackle . I think he's the unheralded, dark horse guy this year that sticks.
Chris Banjo: Might not even make the roster but I'm putting him here anyway. His hustle and play on ST make Bush expendable next year and he takes over as the "hustle-special teams-guy who occasionally moonlights on offense/defense."
Jarrett Boykin: Probably won't replicate the stats he had last year with a healthy RB corps and the depth at WR. Perfect second banana. Knows his place in the pecking order of the offense and does everything asked of him.
