I'm just going to interject here a little and say that while I don't specifically agree with you in terms of how Moss did his job this year (we've been through it, in terms of my thinking it has more to do w/ the D line than you do, no big whoop), I do agree that promoting him isn't the right decision, given the circumstances. You have a team drop from 13-3 to 6-10 - for a LOT of reasons, to be clear - but one of the bigger reasons is the defense falling apart. You look to last year and it's not like it was a top defense then, either.

So if you're Thompson, I don't think you can simply promote from w/in - and that doesn't mean Moss can't get the job done, it just means that if only for PR reasons you really need to clean house and effect some big change on the defensive side of the ball.

I'll be interested to see how this all shakes out, for sure.

I'm no expert but I never understood,how you can be good in the beginning of a game,but at the end you give up a lot,that is what was so frustrating you need to be aggressive all game,you need the players to adjust with the coach and it seemed the coach could,t adjust to the opponents we need some one who stays aggressive and can adjust like steelers ravens .

It isn't Ted's call.. MM made the firing call and he will replace him with his pick, Ted might need to okay the choice.. but MM will have the keys IMO.
