To be honest - Im looking forward to see how they do; be a nice change - and I concur with everyone else. Enough of the 3 man rushes against 5-6 defenders. It gets us nowhere and any good QB with all the time in the world in the pocket can hit a open guy eventually.

4 man rushes work much better - you see teams in their base 4-3 team apart teams.

I often see us with 3-20+ and go rush 3 and they hit the 1st down. I dont see that happening with decent pressure; and 3 guys doesnt count.

I worried about him being in the base defense as a down-lineman at first because of his size, but now I'm starting to think that it won't be as much of an issue. You are right Stoic. Jones just hasn't proven himself in that position yet. He is a beast in individual drills though. Just have to find the right place for him on the field to be successful.

I was one of the first to advocate having a smaller more mobile D-Line - tacklers instead of space occupiers. Hell yeah, we are better off that way. The team stunk against the run with two or three of those "tubbos" in there. I'd like to see not even one - a third mobile athletic 290-300 pounder instead of Raji in the base D. As for Grady Jackson, I haven't seen ANY of last year's 330+ pounders show near the run-stopping ability that Jackson showed. If somebody did, I'd be for using him, but that's unlikely.
