Lewis participated in Green Bay's rookie orientation camp in May

The Green Bay Packers have signed rookie free agent LB Shaun Lewis. The signing was announced Tuesday by Ted Thompson, Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations.

EDIT: Nobody cut... they had one spot open that some thought was being held for Finley. Now, were at 90 man limit. This dude is 5'11. Surprised by this addition but it is our 90th man.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

He seems kind of small but he was a super productive 4 year player in college so I guess it's a good guy to have as your 90th man.

Look at all of these TFLs, and turnovers. That speaks to good football instincts at ILB.
2013: 73 tackles, 8 TFL, 0.5 sack, 3 INT, 5 PD, 1 QBH, 2 FF
2012: 58 tackles, 7.5 TFL, 2.5 sacks, 4 PD, 4 QBH, 1 FF
2011: 61 tackles, 9.5 TFL, 2 INT, 1 sack, 4 QBH, 1 FF, 1 FR
2010: 58 tackles, 8 TFL, 3 INT, 1 PD, 3 FF

His 40 time is 4.91, but it makes me think this could be one of those guys who either just had a bad day at the time of his running the 40, or he plays way faster in his gear on grass. This kid is without a doubt a playmaker. Nice find.
