Packers to use tech firm to study injuries

McCarthy took that a step further when he said recently that in his eight seasons as head coach, he’s had only two truly healthy teams -- the 13-3 team of 2007 and the 15-1 team of 2011.

Don't just study it. Do something about it, or retire.

I'd be starting with, why all the hamstring injuries?

So, in MM's own words he's had two healthy football teams out of eight? Looking at the stats, it appears even the two he considered healthy were only moderately so.

I can't imagine what this team could do if if had a year where it dwelt among the top teams as far as health.

It is pretty pitiful the overall health this team has had. To say it's not soft after reading 2 healthy teams in 8 years... I don't know.

We've had long discussions about injuries, stretching etc ... and the trainer whom doesnt seem to be doing a good job.

Maybe they need to hire people not indoctrinated into the medical model -
and the only time you work on health is sickness and then you fix via intrusive procedure.

I am glad they are looking in to it. But why did it take so long? This is something that every NFL team should have been working on for the past 20 years.

a lot of it comes to down to the players and their physical history not just the present

stretching actually Really really helps disc issues (weather present or to prevent).
