According to the chart SF would only have to give up the #77 pick to make the deal work. That #94 is a 120 point throw in, and we are already over by 35 pts...

But, HELL YEAH I would take that deal too. I'm just talking about getting two R1 selections, and what it might take to do so, and how feasible it might actually be.

2nd 3rd and 4th round picks seem pretty valuable to me this year. Teams that usually go back up to get another 1st rounder are ones that have a high 2nd round pick which is not us meaning we'd probably have to give up most of the early/middle of our draft to do it which just doesn't seem worth it for what's potentially available at the end of the 1st, most of those guys just don't seem like players you give up that much for. I don't see the late 1st being significantly stronger than the late 2nd. I mean is haha and mosely really a future 1st, a 2nd and 3rd better than something like haha/Jordan Matthews, haha/Murphy, or Mosely/Bucannon

Hehe...well, since I'd trade down/out of the round if they were the best available, I guess I have to say it wasn't very cool at all. I'd rather have a six picks in the top 100 than spend two firsts on those two. If I couldn't trade down, I'd take one of them as BPA. But no way would I want to spend other picks on the other.

Put it this way, if there were two very, very special players that Ted felt would be great for our team, and if he had a trading partner and wanted to do it, I would be all for it.

I'd rather have a two All-Pro players than 4 that were just considered to be good players. I say that knowing of course there are no guarantees, but the odds of landing All-Pro players are better right in this range that I am talking about. Considerably more so.

Granted, this is all pure speculation, but I wanted to show we are bracketed at #21 by 3 teams that have only 6 picks in this draft. One of them may want to make a deal for more picks... it is possible. I'm not expecting it to happen, but it is possible. Maybe the professionals have a different take on who the true top talents are, and just how deep this draft really is...

This draft is deep...deep at positions we really aren't in need of (depending on what you think we need).

I'm all for trading up if the right players are there, but not for a scenario in taking both Shazier and Mosley. It would be nice if the Packers can take a safety (let's say HaHa or Pryor fall) at 21 and if Shazier and/or Mosley are still on the board late in the 1st (even better would be if they were still available early in the 2nd but that doesn't fit the thread topic).

Quality over quantity in this draft, imo. The deepness of this draft class doesn't fit the needs at the Packers positions to need more picks in the later rounds.

What is being considered deep talent positions this draft? Wide receiver and cornerbacks? I'd say the drop off in talent is pretty significant for the other positions other than those two.
