true enough. I think we're all (myself included) just really tense about what kind of coaching personnel changes are on the way.

I'm ready for FA and the draft already... I hate that I have to wait so long to watch another Packer game.

At least I have the Lakers to ease my pain 🙂

Spring training starts soon enough. Twins baseball and (to an extent) nascar distract me during the spring and summer.

sort of.

To many people are getting way to serious on here and real touchy on every little word that is typed.

Now this I can agree with.

But take it from a Cubs fan since birth: There is NO comparison between being a Packers fan and a Cubs fan. Hell, I would take 6-10 and missing the playoffs over the best record in the regular season and getting bounced like a bunch of chumps in the first playoff series any day.

Yeah but you got to listen to Harey Carey for 25 years. The guy got funnier as the game progressed. His poor liver.

Well I like both the NBA (Lakers) and baseball(Yankees).... so I got some sports to watch

Plus the Bowl games have been interesting. I enjoyed watching Vandy upset BC, but man BC has some GREAT DTs, mainly Raji. Both of them were in the backfield all day and made two key 3rd and 1 stops.

I like baseball and would love to get more into it, but I get bored quickly if I'm not rooting for a team or something when watching... and atm, I don't have a favorite team or a reason for one to become it.

And I love to play Basketball, but it's quite boring on TV.

At least I still have the European sports on regular TV, Eredivisie Soccer, Formula 1 etc.

On topic though, I have alot of trust in next year. Ted is a draft magician in my eyes and smart enough to pick up some help along one of the lines in FA to. I think we'll be a contender again next year... but then again, I'm a bit biased.

It's the eighties all over again! "Just wait until next year!"

Priceless, and fatal. Sorry, but I've been through this BS before.

Hopefully Mark Murphy has done his homework in Packer history 101.

Although I wasn't part of the Packers following back in the 80's, having not been born for most of it, I'm sure someone could show many dissimilarities between then and now.

And anyway, how many seasons in the 80's did we go 13-3? The talent is there in the 2009 squad, for the most part.

You're not the only one who has been through it and you don't see each of them whining about it, now do you?

Who gives a damn if Mark Murphy does Packer History 101? That's not going to help us win in '09.

Us winning in '09 falls on the players, coaches and Ted Thompson.

I hope we're healthy next year and we actually pick up a big free agent in the off season to help our defensive line.

dfosterf (26-Jun) : I think it would be great to have someone like Tom Grossi or Andy Herman on the Board of Directors so he/they could inform us
dfosterf (26-Jun) : Fair enough, WPR. Thing is, I have been a long time advocate to at least have some inkling of the dynamics within the board.
wpr (26-Jun) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason

Martha Careful (10-Jun) : We only do the tea before whoopee, it relaxes me.

Mucky Tundra (10-Jun) : How's the ayahuasca tea he makes, Martha?
Martha Careful (10-Jun) : Turns out he like older women

Mucky Tundra (10-Jun) : Well he can always ask his brother for pointers
Zero2Cool (10-Jun) : Bo Melton taking some reps at CB as well as WR
Zero2Cool (10-Jun) : key transactions coming today at 3pm that will consume more cap in 2025
