Time-killing until the draft thread

If the Packers had the #1 overall pick, who would you want them to take?

first question is what did they have to trade in order to get the #1? If they traded AR then a QB. Bortles probably. If they traded CM3 (along with draft picks) then Clowney.

common sense says we trade it away to the vikes for their #1 this year and next year and their #2 this year 😆
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Tough Choice between Greg Robinson, Sammy Watkins, and Khalil Mack. Maybe throw in Clowney though I think Mack is probably a better fit.

I know D is a need but I would have to say Watkins. The team overall just looks better to me with Watkins than one with those other guys. I would see Mack having more impact at least as a rookie on this team at ILB which I think he can play but is it worth taking an ILB at #1?

Then they will trade their 2nd rounder from 2014, 2015 and 2016 for the 20th overall selection.

Then they will trade the 20th overall selection for their original 21st overall selection because the Texans will desperately need the QB that's on the board and will be able to get him $7 million cheaper than if they had reached for him with the first overall pick. The Packers will convince the Texans they are going to groom said QB to replace Rodgers. The trade gives the Packers their three first round selections back.

So, all in all, the Packers traded three second round selections for the 1st overall pick in the trade.

Trade the pick to the Steelers for Dick LeBeau.

Straight Up.

We make about 5 trades and end up with 15 2nd and 3rd round picks.

I like Khalil Mack.

I'd take Mack

wpr (26-Jun) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served

dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”

beast (20-Jun) : Hmm 🤔 re-signing Walker before Tom? Sounds highly questionable to me.
