Tried two more tonight...went the ole texaspackerbacker way and traded up, receiving two picks in the 1st. Clearly unrealistic, I had to give away a future draft pick. For these picks, I think it was worth it.
Your score is: 4286 (Drafting Ability: B, Player Quality A, Future Draft Picks: C-)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 21: Ryan Shazier, OLB, Ohio State (B)
Round 1 Pick 27 (N.O.): C.J. Mosley, ILB, Alabama (A-)
Round 2 Pick 21: Deone Bucannon, SS, Washington State (B+)
Round 3 Pick 34 (COMP): C.J. Fiedorowicz, TE, Iowa (A-)
Round 4 Pick 21: Daniel McCullers, DT, Tennessee (A)
Round 5 Pick 21: Brandon Coleman, WR, Rutgers (A)
Round 5 Pick 36 (COMP): Bennett Jackson, CB, Notre Dame (A)
Round 6 Pick 21: David Fales, QB, San Jose State (A)
Round 7 Pick 21: Max Bullough, ILB, Michigan State (B)

My only issue here is I didn't take a center. I have faith in Tretter but...no depth there. Moving along...

2nd attempt
Your score is: 4264 (Drafting Ability: C+, Player Quality A, Future Draft Picks: N/A)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 24 (CINN): C.J. Mosley, ILB, Alabama (B+)
Round 2 Pick 21: Dee Ford, DE, Auburn (A)
Round 2 Pick 23 (CINN): Ra'Shede Hageman, DT, Minnesota (A)
Round 3 Pick 24 (CINN): Travis Swanson, C, Arkansas (A-)
Round 3 Pick 34 (COMP): C.J. Fiedorowicz, TE, Iowa (A-)
Round 4 Pick 21: Devin Street, WR, Pittsburgh (B+)
Round 4 Pick 23 (CINN): Christian Jones, ILB, Florida State (B)
Round 5 Pick 21: Bennett Jackson, CB, Notre Dame (B)
Round 5 Pick 36 (COMP): David Fales, QB, San Jose State (A)
Round 6 Pick 21: Cody Latimer, WR, Indiana (A)
Round 7 Pick 21: C.J. Barnett, SS, Ohio State (F)

Cinci and I became bff's in this one.

Not sure which one I like more.

**I tried everything possible to get into the top 5 choices and take Jadeveon Clowney and top 10 to get Khalil Mack**

Not real sure if Ted will have as many trading partners that the sight makes available, but I am finding that trading down(sometimes twice) in the 1st rnd and acquiring additional 2nd, 3rd, and 4th rnd picks.
Then using those extra 3rd and 4th rnd picks and trading back up into the 2nd round gives me the better results.

Fun thing to do, but I don't know just how realistic it is.

There does seem to be plenty of talent that will be available in the 2nd rnd, will be interesting to see just how Ted plays it this year.

Broke the 5000 Mark!!!

Your score is: 5181 (Drafting Ability: A, Player Quality B, Future Draft Picks: N/A)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 23 (K.C.): Eric Ebron, TE, North Carolina (A)
Round 2 Pick 10 (TENN): Kyle Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech (A)
Round 3 Pick 34 (COMP): DaQuan Jones, DT, Penn State (A)
Round 4 Pick 21: Travis Swanson, C, Arkansas (A)
Round 5 Pick 8 (MINN): Devin Street, WR, Pittsburgh (A)
Round 5 Pick 36 (COMP): David Fales, QB, San Jose State (A)

Your Future Picks:
2015 Round 1 Pick
2016 Round 1 Pick

Traded down in the 1st, still got Ebron, traded up in the 2nd to snag Fuller, used 3rd rnd comp pick to get Jones, stayed pat in rnd 4 for Swanson, traded up in rnd 5 for Street, and used 5th rnd comp for future QB in Fales.

I could live with a draft like this, 6 quality players from the draft, and whatever U-DFA's Ted would choose to bring in, would give The Packers plenty of depth while these guys develop.

It is definitely way too easy to make trades, so this one is totally impossible in the real draft, but I love the idea of getting a lot of third rounders. (Re: the absurd total number of picks, I was actually hoping to be done by late 4th/early 5th, but the computer kept offering these late picks as part of the deal. What can I say? IMO if this were possible, it would be more than a D+.

This is too much fun, though. I don't need more distractions from work, thank you. [grin1]

Not sure what the "E" after Bullough means.

Thing I like about this is, really doesn't matter what team you draft for it seems Pryor, Shazier, CJ Mosley and Dee Ford(all projected 1st rnd picks) always fall to early to mid 2nd rnd. Same with Jenkins, Hyde and Landry.

The point...There is plenty of talent in this draft, trading down might not be a bad thing this year.

Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
