People wonder why I rail on liberals so much. Because they keep coming up with stupid shit like this. Liberals are absolutely destroying this country. We're turning into a bunch of spineless pussies with no backbones.

LOL - what exactly was the reason given in our history books for the massive land grab of the American Southwest? Yeah, they're taking it back, one block at a time.

I think you alluded to the answer you're looking for in the other thread: WE - America - really ARE superior people. That would be a "humanist" point of view. Take your pick, either THAT or the fact that God chose America - the modern day incarnation of Biblical Israel - to dominate the world until Christ Himself returns to rule. I prefer the latter, but I could go with either one.

You can run and hide now, Dakota. That's what you generally do when you are getting an ass-kicking hahahaha.

You seem to be the modern equivalent of a Pharisee - standing on the street corner whining and ranting about how righteous you are and how bad others are. I'm sure there are a few rotten individual "rich people" who are every bit as bad as you fantasize about. However, it's safe to assume God knows how to sort out the goats from the sheep and target them.

As for America in general, despite low down HATERS like you spewing shit to the contrary, this country most certainly passes the test of good over evil, both internationally, protecting the world from that dark age of depravity as I have described, and domestically - uplifting even the nearest thing to poor that there is in this country.

And of course, there is that troublesome little fact you are always in denial of - that Jesus's parables, in several cases, describe and promote capitalism.

You're damn lucky there's no truth to that liberal allegory - that a person's "hell" is what bothers him the most, because it will be sheer hell for you to see a lot of good normal Christian business people enjoying the Kingdom of Heaven.

I ask again, what's with this "rise from within this country" stuff? Some lame attempt by you to interpret the Bible?

Good normal Christians, huh? You mean those folks that hate gay people, women that use birth control or have an abortion, hate minorities and immigrants, believe that Caucasians are the chosen people and are the only people that belong her - those folks?

Jesus would hate modern day capitalism - the exploitation of poor people; and only an idiot or someone filling an agenda would actually make a claim that he'd be supportive of capitalism.

The other bad thing is that you seem to have no concept whatsoever about what is in the Bible. The stuff you mentioned - what you see as so negative about Good Normal Christians? Virtually all of that is just adhering directly to God's teachings as outlined in the Bible - applying the idea of "hate the sin, not the sinner", of course.

The Pharisee thing? They were generally good people - same as you, I guess. However, their most notable characteristic is they liked to flaunt it - to tell everybody exactly how virtuous they were - and how bad others were. Sound familiar?

People that hate others because they perceive them to be hurtful to their bottom line aren't worth a squirt of piss in my opinion. Instead of helping the poor they belittle them. Good Christian beliefs there Texas - what a genius you are. =d> [roflmao]

You're completely off base with this jealousy thing you think I have for these soulless clowns, but whatever - you think it needles at me or something - I just keep laughing at you. See I don't need to be jealous of anybody when I have everything a man needs already. I certainly don't think life is a contest on who can acquire the most material shit, so why would you think I'm jealous of these people I ridicule?

You should probably work on yourself instead of worrying about me so much.

You, for example, are as hateful as anybody I can think of, and you seem to consider yourself a Christian. If you don't think so, just go back and read the hate you have expressed in numerous posts. I have been guilty of that a few times myself, but not even close to as many as you - twice that I can think of.

If you say you have everything a man needs, fine. You know that better than anybody else. I've completely happy with my life also. You work your ass off, and have plenty to show for it; I coast through life and just get by, but enjoy life to the max. Each to his own. The difference is that you - back to the Pharisee thing - just can't help trumpeting how great you are and how you think other people should be. You don't agree? Read the last line of your post - as well as all the other times you have done the same.

Back to the original topic - which you get all the credit for coming up with, neither of us would be able to live the way we want to live if not for the competence and sacrifice when needed of our magnificent military - and throw in the accompanying industrial complex - that you repeatedly disrespect and disparage.

oops. I got confused. That last paragraph applies to the other thread.

Zero2Cool (10-Feb) : NFL thought it would get more attention week preceding Super Bowl.
Zero2Cool (10-Feb) : Yes, the Pro Bowl. It was played Sunday before Super Bowl from 2010-2022
packerfanoutwest (10-Feb) : pro bowl
Zero2Cool (10-Feb) : From 2010 to 2022, it was played on the Sunday before the Super Bowl
Zero2Cool (10-Feb) : They moved it to the BYE week before Super Bowl several years ago.

Zero2Cool (10-Feb) : 49ers gonna trade Deebo. Interesting
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : Replays always never seem to show the holdings
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : Great throw by Hurts
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : Where Carter falls prey to bad off the field influences (to be clear, not saying he'd clip someone though)
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : Had Carter not gone to Philly were they already had a lot of old college friends, he ends up in a similar spot to Aaron Hernandez
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : I think some of his coaches told scouts to stay away
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : the street racing incident+conditioning and motivation problems
beast (10-Feb) : Then Carter was street racing, where the other car crashed and people died... and other teams were scared to pick Carter for some reason
beast (10-Feb) : I think the Saints traded up, giving their next year 1st to the Eagles, and then they sucked and Eagles got the 10th overall pick
packerfanoutwest (10-Feb) : wtf Barkley?
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : Getting Carter and Nolan Smith in the first round in 2023 was pretty darn good
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : for some reason i'm thinking of a draft where the Eagles where in the mid 20s and a top player fell all the way to them
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : I think so. I would need to look it up. Think it may have been Carolina's pick.
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : i'm not sure who i'm thinking of now
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : oh fuck me i messed that up
Zero2Cool (10-Feb) : Jordan Davis was 13th overall
Zero2Cool (10-Feb) : Carter was 9th overall
Zero2Cool (10-Feb) : Eagles had 15th and 10th selections, moved to 13 and 9 to get Davis and Carter back to back
Zero2Cool (10-Feb) : Eagles traded up for Carter, didn't they?
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : Obviously he was a huge risk but getting a top 5 talent on the dline in the mid 20s is fortuitous
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : Jalen Carter falling into their lap certainly helps
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : And we could only wish to have this type of D
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : It's not like Philly has had low draft picks, but has managed to get themselves a top notch pass rush. We spend so much draft capital of D
packerfanoutwest (10-Feb) : another crap halftime show
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : I think it is over, but then I think of Atlanta and want Philly to go in with the same intensity in the second half
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : And with a Pass Rush that might as well be on a milk cartoon and no Jaire
Martha Careful (10-Feb) : I cant help but feel good about how well the Packers D played in Philly during the playoffs
