This guy is loving retirement on the farm. Seems a little slow in speaking and recalling things. Have to wonder if all those hits are having an effect.

I think it's pretty safe to say that there are 2 types of NFL "elite" quarterbacks. There are the state whore quarterbacks: Favre, Manning, Tarkenton, and Marino; and there are the championship winning quarterbacks Montana and Bradshaw and then the combos of Unites and Brady. It remains to be seen what we have in Rodgers.

I think the stat whore quarterbacks deserve their first ballot hall of fame honors, but have taken themselves out of the greatest quarterback of all time discussion with their playoff performances.

It's actually to the point now where I remember older, 5 o'clock stubble Favre more than I do young Favre from his first few years in the the league and I always catch myself saying "Damn, I forget how young he was" whenever I see young Favre photos.
