It is not exactly what Dom Capers does. You want to see a good example of a defense morphing to its talent? Patriots.
I'm thinking this Nickel package is pretty damn good with the biggest weak spots being both the Safeties.
DL - Jolly, Daniels (rotate Datone Jones and Worthy)
LB - Perry, Hawk, Lattimore, Matthews
CB - Shields, Williams, Hayward
SS - Burnett, Richardson
I think the Packers need two starting Safeties. I do like Richardson, but I am not sold he is the answer. I do not think Burnett is worth his contract.
Packers do need to draft better, especially if they are going to live and die by the draft and develop philosophy. Keep in mind, Thompson believes that you can plug in defensive players from other teams far more effectively than on offense. He said offensive players have to be groomed. Coincidentally, the offense performs quite well (between the 20's anyhow lol)
