The loss of the mystique of Lambeau is 100% player and/or coach related because wow we were LOUD tonight. You see those early timeouts from the 49ers? Yeah, that was us.

I think the Packers have lost 5 of the last 8 playoff games at home or something.

Packers are a weak (indicated by the vast injuries) and soft (indicated by the fact they play dramatically better in a dome).

And watching them lineup for that FG at the end. Incredibly frustrating.

Our first three possessions were frustrating.

What's REALLY frustrating is seeing that same type of lull, week after week, year after year.

It's not just Lambeau. HFA has pretty much been lessened throughout the entire NFL.

McCarthy is a fairweather HC/DC with a job in cold weather GB. How often have we all discussed that cold and bad weather favors visitors coming into GB. Finesse offensive blocking with finesse passing game. McCarthy needs to figure out how to be a bad weather QB or go somewhere else.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

We need some tough and mean sons of bitches on both lines. The Packers deserve to be labeled "soft" cause they really are.

I get nothing but Niners games here.

Kap calls timeouts all the time for no apparent reason.

So no that wasn't us.

yeah it is a pity they lost their HFA by being a soft team these days. I had hoped a running game would have put an end to their being soft but failing to move the ball early in the game by trying to run showed they are still weak in the run. Once again Lacy's yards came after contact and almost all on his own. Oh for a stud line in front of him that can actually push the DL back on their heels.

I actually thought Lambeau was rocking tonight. I was impressed. It seemed like there was a lot of energy in the stadium, more than I've seen in awhile . . . at least from my living room. You could really tell how bad Green Bay fans want to beat the 49'er's. Unfortunately for the Packers, the 49'er's are just a better team than the Packers, and they have proved it every chance they've gotten lately. They have much more talent, play with much more heart, and are coached much better. It's no surprise to me at all that they lost, once again.

Pleaaaaaaaaaaase stop with the bullshit about the Packers being a soft team.... I honestly did not see the 49ers at all being overwhelmingly tough for us.

Like everyone else said they are the better team, they were the better team today. Is it really that suprising that a 12-4 team that was on a 6 game winning streak beat a 8-7-1 team? And the Packers being 2 weeks removed from finally getting Aaron back after missing 8 weeks?

If the 49ers were suchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh toughys and that was the reason they beat us because of their pure toughness and the lack there of of ours, why the hell didn't we get steamrolled by them?

I saw Eddie Lacy and Kuhn pound the shit out of guys, our offensive line has BIG men and they were opening holes. Don't give the finesse bullshit either, because I'm pretty sure we've ran the ball pretty god damn well this year...

I don't know what to think about this subject about how big or buff our players have to be.. It's pretty ridiculous when we start blaming it on how tough our players are, and that be the reason we lose games. I mean when we beat guys like the Bears and Cowboys are they less tough than we are....?

The reality is it's not about this nonsense, it's about winning and knowing how to win. The 49ers have just been the hotter team the last few years... It's not like we're the first team to have this happen to us.

Haven't we had their number for like 3 or 4 games straight games before we faced them in 2012? Back when Singletary was the coach.

I mean did we out tough them then? or..... Ya know... we had a good team maybe....

dfosterf (18-Aug) : We do have good depth at running back imo. Still so frustrating. Bitching about it is a futile excercise, which I plan to do anyway.

dfosterf (13-Aug) : a lower back injury

Mucky Tundra (13-Aug) : With LVN that is; need to see what happens in the next practice
Mucky Tundra (13-Aug) : beast, reading about what happened, it sounded like one of those "two guys collide and are moving slow afterwards" type of deals
beast (12-Aug) : I believe Musgrave has been injured every single season since at least a Sophomore in highschool
packerfanoutwest (12-Aug) : Matt LaFleur: “Highly unlikely” Jordan Love plays more this preseason
dfosterf (12-Aug) : Doubs, Savion Williams, LVN, Musgrave all banged up to one degree or another, missing one here I forget

Mucky Tundra (10-Aug) : Sooooooo many penalties
Mucky Tundra (10-Aug) : It may only be preseason, but this game is a trip to the dentist

Mucky Tundra (9-Aug) : THE GREEN BAY PACKERS ARE PLAYING FOOTBALL TONIGHT!!!!!! THIS IS NOT A DRILL!!!!
Zero2Cool (9-Aug) : Woo-hoo
TheKanataThrilla (9-Aug) : NFL Network is broadcasting the game tonight, but not in Canada. Not sure why as no local television is showing the game.
beast (8-Aug) : But the Return from IR designations had to be applied by the 53 man cutdown.
beast (8-Aug) : It's a new rule, so it's not clear, but my understanding was that they could be IR'd at any time
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : *had to be IRed at 53
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : beast, I thought the designate return from IR players had to be IR at cutdowns to 53, not before
beast (8-Aug) : It's a brand new rule, either last season or this season, prior, all pre-season IRs were done for the season
beast (8-Aug) : But the Packers would have to use one for their return from IR spots on him, when they cut down to 53.
beast (8-Aug) : I think the NFL recently changed the IR rules, so maybe the season might not be over for OL Glover.
Zero2Cool (8-Aug) : Packers star Howton, first NFLPA prez, dies at 95 😔
dfosterf (8-Aug) : Apparently it is too complicated for several to follow your simple instructions, but I digress
