We used to use vaseline on exposed skin (neck, face, wrists). That was a zillion years ago, though (last time I was in cold-weather game, Starr was quarterback).

I would second all those who have suggested the little handwarmers. But you said 4 each -- I would double that, at least. They take up very little room in big coat pockets, and if you don't use them, they're good to always have on hand in your car.

A couple other things:
1. Big rubber bands to hold the pants bottom tight against your boots (outside the boots, to trap that insulating air inside, but not tightened against the skin, which defeats the layering effect.
2. Re: mittens v. gloves. We found it best to choose "both": first a tight fitting pair of gloves, then an oversize pair of wind-stopping insulated mittens over the top. That way you get the layering, you don't get the loss of warmth through all those extra seams of the gloves, and yet if you want to drink a beer (or coffee), you can retain some coverage by taking the mittens off temporarilyand leaving the gloves on.

One more thing When I was at a Packer Lions game many years ago the wind chill was in the minus and while I was in line in the bathroom some guy said "I've got 12 inches of clothes and 6 inches of dick so there is a good chance I'm pissing all over myself right now." Maybe you don't have to worry about that. If not, good for you. Otherwise, its something to think about.

Goggles are a great idea. Definitely use layers. By "hand warmers" I assume you mean those things you shake and then put them in your mittens. Definitely use those.

If you use wool socks, they will keep your feet warm even if they are wet. In fact, wool coats all around.

There are herbs for this sort of thing if you want to go that route. Eat food that is super spicy. This will keep you warm internally. Also, get some cayenne. 90 HU is the hottest. Put this on the outside of your inner pair of socks and mittens.

Try to stay out of the wind. Wind will carry the cold deep into your body.

Also, use essential oils. Cinnamon is the hottest. Ginger is good too. Black Pepper is good, but it is a middle note, so it will only last about 4 hours. Put the oils on Du 4, which is on the spine, opposite the navel. Also, Ren 6, just below the naval. Spleen 6 and Stomach 36 are good too.

Point Locations.

As you know, all the seating at Lambeau is metal bleachers. They have these clip on seat cushions you can rent at Lambeau for $6. Get them. Provides a layer between your ass and the bleacher.

Also, bring something to put your feet on, so your feet aren't on the concrete. Styrofoam works good. Nothing will sap the heat from your body faster than having your feet directly on the concrete.

Kevin I no you already have cold weather gear. But I have to say I was heading outside this morning to do a few chores and I had to laugh. I was putting on my coveralls I wear to every cold weather game and I didn't even mention them yesterday.

I have not been at an extremely cold game like you will be at but I have been to a few where the wind chill was below zero in the negative range. My one piece lined coveralls keeps me warm. It is over sized enough that I can get several layers on below it. I can get my Nitschke jersey on over it. (I have posted a lot of photos over the past couple of years with me dressed in this stuff.) When it is really cold I put a parka on over all of that.

What I like best about the coveralls is I don't have to keep pulling my coat down to keep it in contact with my lower body. The wind doesn't get in. I know some people have the bib pants but I like the ones at have the coats and pants in one suit. quilted of course.

I think I got mine from the local walmart or farm and fleet.

I did a sweep check at Walmart yesterday and I found some full suit coveralls that had me thinking that was the route I was going to take lol ... the pair for me $60 which I assume for the girls it'll be similar.

When I picked up Becca last night I asked if she was interested in going to the Packers game. She quickly said yes.

A little background to this ... I almost had Steelers tickets few weeks ago. I asked the girls if they wanted to go. Keiana was iffy. Becca mentioned twice how she was excited and it would be her first game ever. I initially had asked the lady (through a friend) what row/section/seats they were. However, the next day after Becca was displaying excitement, I said screw it and told my friend, tell the lady I'll take them, don't care what row or anything. Turns out the lady sold them shortly after she posted she had them for sale but didn't tell anyone.

Back to Becca saying "yes" she wanted to go. I said, well, I already have tickets so we will be going for sure. She threw her arms up in the air in excitement.

When I told the girls we'll be getting anything they need to keep warm, Becca quickly snapped "thanks dad but it HAS to be Packers stuff only!!"

Btw, if you use cinnamon, it's very hot, so it could burn younger kids. You might want to dilute it with Walnut oil. Walnut is a good yang tonic. Or you could get some Abramelin oil. They might have that in new age shops. Abremeliin is Cinnamon, Galangal (which is a form of Ginger) and I think those are diluted in Olive oil.

Spent most of Saturday shopping for clothes. Both girls got Carhartt jackets an camo overalls. No coveralls to be found. Thermal socks, long underwear all that stuff. No one had ski masks of any kind. Might get ski goggles today and blankets.

Martha Careful (5-May) : Yes, in the military S2’s work on IPB, PERCEC, PHYSEC and IO
dfosterf (4-May) : FYI civilian companies swipe the S2 designation from the military. S2 is the intelligence branch up to brigade level. G2 is division level.
dfosterf (4-May) : Google it. Make sure to tack NFL on it or you will get the military meaning
Zero2Cool (4-May) : S2?
beast (4-May) : Seems like the S2 has a love/hate relationship with professional scouts.

dfosterf (4-May) : Are you gentlemen and at least one lady familiar with the S2 cognition
Zero2Cool (4-May) : Maybe there isn't an issue.
