The biggest problem with this weak ass defense we've been running is it is only successful when getting turnovers. Well, we're not getting the turnovers, so that's why it looks so bad. Also, it is a very weak defense up the middle, very weak.

Raji on the other hand is very inconsistant, looks great at times horrible on others and doesn't seem to prefer run clogging much (which all DTs have to do at some put unless maybe they're running a Tampa 2 or something).
Jolly is on IR. Neal is needed at OLB. Daniels is undersized (for 3-4 run clogging) and the rest are back-ups / rotation guys at the moment.
I doubt they do it but I'm still a bit interested in trying the Wade Phillips scheme idea at some point... (not interested in Wade Phillips per say just the scheme idea).
Basically put your run clogging DL at DE (Pickett/Raji) and put you best interior penetrator at NT (Daniels) and ask the penetrator to get into the back field and make a play on the ball. (Of course you got to make sure an ILB is watching the penetrator because if he misses there is a BIG BIG hole up the middle. But think Daniels at times has flashed the physical skill to dominate, that's better than we've seen from the other DL.
Not sure you first run this in a playoff game either, I'm thinking no you don't...
