Circular Arguments: They are a heck of an annoyance

I was just thinking about this and look at our top 2 paid players and then look at how many games they have played. I am actually thinking we should try trading off Mathews and see what we can get to clear up some cap space.

He has played all 16 games once in his career and that was as a rookie.

2009 16
2010 15
2011 15
2012 12 games and gets a huge contract extension after
2013 he will finish with 11 games

and its over a thumb seriously Favre had a broken thumb and played qb with it on his throwing hand.

Also im sure there arent different types of broken thumb or anything. Favre had a small hairline fracture or something and matthews had a fracture/dislocation. Not to mention a linebackers fingers and hands take a shitload more punishment in a game than a quarterbacks. The comparison is a joke.

Also I dont believe favres"broken" thumb even required surgery but dont let facts get in the way of a stupid comparison.

Besides, having Clay for 3/4 of the season and having him set out for 1/4 is way more valuable than not having him at all. Crazy how much our defense improves when he is on the field.
