Came across this after hearing something on the news about it. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/govbeat/wp/2013/12/18/wisconsins-walker-thinking-about-ending-income-tax/ I noticed a few states didn't have income tax prior to reading this and thinking it'd be cool for WI to follow suit. Now we might? This could help lure free agents, right?

No matter what, the state is going to need a certain amount of revenue to operate on. Whether it is collected through Income tax, Sales tax or other means, it is still going to be collected.

I grew up with Bob Wickman and stayed friends with him when he became a pro baseball player and he actually had to pay a state tax in every state he played in. Of course it was pro rated to games played in each state.

It's a nice thought in theory. We don't have a state income tax in Nevada. Just wait until it costs,(it's based on the MSRP.), you close to a $1000 to register your new car the first time. It also only goes down about 10% a year after that.
