BJ Raji - YES. Probably a shock to people who hear how much I knock the guy. I know he has been up and down and mostly down lately but gosh I just don't see the team letting him go. Put him back to strictly nose guard in base and keep him out of nickel for most situations.

James Jones - YES. He is not like Jennings. Doesn't have #1 receiver mentality.

Sam Shields - YESYESYES. A thousand times yes.

Jermichael Finley - MAYBE. But who knows if this will be a Nick Collins situation.

Ryan Pickett - MAYBE. He is our Vince Wilfork. If you can get by with near vet minimum.

John Kuhn - YES. I think they just love the guy in our organization. He is their pride and joy.

James Starks - YES. Is Hill a long term player or just a reserve? Starks is our primary backup. Health will be determining factor.

Andrew Quarless - NO. I really like the guy but has other talent coming in behind him, which like Crabtree could make him expendable.

Marshall Newhouse - NO. Be gone sir.

EDS - MAYBE. A shock perhaps, but will rely on availability due to cap and the potential emergence of Tretter, and the health of GVR.

Mike Neal - YES. A swing LB / DL!? Yes please.

Johnny Jolly - YES. Vet minimum hopefully

CJ Wilson - NO. Don't see him making cut.

Rob Francois - MAYBE
Jamari Lattimore - MAYBE
One of those two. Availability from here to next off-season the factor. I like them both but the injuries are a problem.

MD Jennings - MAYBE. Backup player depending on next year's draft and Richardson's development.

Seneca Wallace - NO
Matt Flynn - NO
Prep Tolzien next off-season as primary backup.

I was gonna say until I read the last post, I was pleased that NOBODY wanted to keep B.J. Raji. There was an old book about early compact cars, "Unsafe at Any Speed"; I would say about Raji, "don't re-sign him at any price". The D-Line will be just fine with Daniels, D. Jones, Jolly, maybe Neal back there, outside chance of Wilson, maybe Boyd, and 1 or 2 draft picks between rounds 1 and 4. Maybe even a decent quality free agent, since we are probably letting so many of our own go.

I concur with most of the posts - Shields is a must, Lattimore for sure, I make Quarless a must also. I think James Jones gets almost G. Jennings money somewhere else. Starks will be nice at the right price. I prefer Tolzien over Flynn.

That article reminded me about an interview I listened to with BJ Raji before the draft. He said he wanted to play in a 4-3 and now I believe that he has certainly lost the desire to play in a 3-4.

I was, however, not aware that he declined Vince Wilfork type money. That is telling. He doesn't want to be our Vince Wilfork. I thought he did, but that balk will not favor him on our side and perhaps that was his intention all along...

BJ Raji-He might not get much of an offer, given his performance this year. You can't give him incentives, because his position doesn't call for generating stats. However, if you do bring him back, it has to be at NT.

Jermichael Finley-Stick a fork in him, he's done. Oh, what could have been!

Ryan Pickett-Possible 1 year deal. I feel like he's breaking down. Age might be catching up to him.

James Jones-Yeah, bring him back. Dude is a man.

John Kuhn-Too old for Ted. He's only still here, because of the rookies at RB. He's adequate at pass pro.

Sam Shields-Dude's gonna get paid. But to be here, he may have to give up his agent. Gonna be hard to sign him.

Andrew Quarless-He stepped up last week. If he shows he can do that regularly, he can up his value. Solid veteran.

Marshall Newhouse-Newhouse can play LT, but not RT. This is a team that likes versatility. Especially on the Oline. He might get a chance to make the team again, but he's not gonna break the bank.

EDS-He's earned a roster spot, but he'll have to re-earn the starter gig.

Mike Neal-Give him incentives based on # of sacks.

Rob Francois-He can cover. lol. Then again, we've got depth in the middle. Could lose out based on numbers.

Johnny Jolly-He's got another couple years in him. Good veteran influence on the field.

James Starks-I bring him back. It seems to me that the Packers coaches have never really liked him. He's F'd up in pass pro at times. Gets injured alot, although he's been pretty healthy this year. I like him as a utility back. Jack of all trades, master of none, but he's on a level above a guy like Ryan Grant. Not as good as Lacey though. Or Franklin, imo.

CJ Wilson-Good depth. Might need him.

Jamari Lattimore-Could push to start on the inside.

MD Jennings-Gone.

Seneca Wallace-Gone. Punked out when we needed him, like a bitch.

Matt Flynn-Gets a chance to be Aaron's career backup. Might still want a chance to start, though. He'll have to beat out Tolzien.

The thing with Raji is not performance but attitude, he is mostly standing there hands in his waist(?) and looking bored.

I don't care if he becomes a monster with a contract I don't like the guy. Reminds me of a guy named Cletidus.

beast (6h) : It's a new rule, so it's not clear, but my understanding was that they could be IR'd at any time
Mucky Tundra (11h) : *had to be IRed at 53
Mucky Tundra (11h) : beast, I thought the designate return from IR players had to be IR at cutdowns to 53, not before
beast (12h) : It's a brand new rule, either last season or this season, prior, all pre-season IRs were done for the season
beast (12h) : But the Packers would have to use one for their return from IR spots on him, when they cut down to 53.
beast (12h) : I think the NFL recently changed the IR rules, so maybe the season might not be over for OL Glover.
Zero2Cool (12h) : Packers star Howton, first NFLPA prez, dies at 95 😔
dfosterf (16h) : Apparently it is too complicated for several to follow your simple instructions, but I digress
dfosterf (16h) : Zero- Did you see what I posted about Voice of Reason and his wife? She posted over at fleaflicker that they are both "In"
Zero2Cool (7-Aug) : Well, not crazy, it makes sense. Crazy I didn't notice/find it earlier
Zero2Cool (7-Aug) : it's crazy how one stored procedure to get data bogged everything down for speed here

Zero2Cool (6-Aug) : I thought that was the Lions OL
Mucky Tundra (6-Aug) : Travis Glover placed on IR; seasons over for him
Zero2Cool (6-Aug) : found bad sql in database, maybe site faster now?
dfosterf (5-Aug) : I'm going to call that a good move.
Zero2Cool (4-Aug) : Packers sign CB Corey Ballentine
Zero2Cool (4-Aug) : I'm not sure how to kill the draft order just yet so it's not so confusing.
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : *to be able
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : and because it's not a dynasty league (which makes a lot more sense to be ability to trade picks)
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Oh I know; I was just exploring and it blew my mind that you could trade picks because of the whole reordering thing
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Zero, I think I preferred my offer: your 1st for my 15th rounder
Zero2Cool (4-Aug) : Keep in mind, we do a draft reorder once all members locked in
Zero2Cool (4-Aug) : You can have my 12th Rd for your 2nd round
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Hey i didn't know we could trade picks in fantasy
Mucky Tundra (3-Aug) : Update: Rock has tried a cheese curd, promises it's not his last
Zero2Cool (3-Aug) : watch it!! lol
Mucky Tundra (3-Aug) : you're right, we never did leave, the site just went down :P
Mucky Tundra (3-Aug) : Rock claims to have never eaten a cheese curd
Zero2Cool (3-Aug) : We did not leave.
Mucky Tundra (3-Aug) : Family Night! WE ARE SO BACK!
Mucky Tundra (2-Aug) : To this day, I'm still miffed about his 4 TD game against Dallas on Thanksgiving going to waste
Martha Careful (2-Aug) : Congratulations Sterling Sharpe. He was terrific and I loved watching him play.
beast (2-Aug) : I believe it's technically against the CBA rules, but Jerry just calls it a simple unofficial chat... and somehow gets away with it.
beast (2-Aug) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : the Synder years or do they take care of one of their own?
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Do the Commanders risk losing a top WR with an emerging QB just because he's turning 30 and potentially risk damaging the rebuild from
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin
