He has stated that he has no intentions of coaching in 2009. I believe he's serious about that.

I'm sure it would entice Favre to come back this year if Holmgren came back though.

I wish that guy wouldn't have left Green Bay. We could have been a dynasty with Favre and him during the 90's.

It takes a special breed of coach to thrive in that market. Holmgren, tired from a long career and even longer season in Seattle, does not appear to fit this mold, imo.

With Holmgren saying he isn't coaching this next season regardless.. he needs a break and then look again.. I think we have a better chance of seeing Bart Starr manning the sidelines of Lambeau.. heaven forbid I wouldn't be able to take it. :lol:

But it would be neat to see the two make another attempt at a run.. One name that I think they will run hard at.. Cowher.. Jets that is.

With Holmgren saying he isn't coaching this next season regardless.. he needs a break and then look again.. I think we have a better chance of seeing Bart Starr manning the sidelines of Lambeau.. heaven forbid I wouldn't be able to take it. :lol:

Bart is a quality person, just didn't have it as a coach..

I remember the days of run, run, pass... punt..

We just sent another partial truckload of donations to his camp this fall.. quality organization from what I have seen.
