Worked badly in one game that he had no preparation for. There is no evidence based on recent (read pre-season) performance that Young or Harrell or Coleman would have done any better.

I won't go so far as to say Wallace was the better choice since we have no way of knowing that but since we have no way of knowing that I also won't go so far as to say any of the other three would have been a better choice. Only gifted psychics (or is it psychos) know that.

When the whole Wallace experience is over the best we will be able to say regarding the choice Ted Thompson made for backup is that he was not the best choice (hopefully that won't be the case). Only guys like TPB will know for sure that one of the other guys would have been better.

Hell, I'd take him over Ponder.

Mike will know how (or dare I say where?) to get Wallace set when he throws. That will be part of the prep this week. Like I said, I bet they roll him out a ton. It's gonna be the Jim Zorn offense.

I'm betting The Packers run, pass, & kick the ball, it's gonna happen on Sunday between 1pm and 4:30 pm.

Stating the obvious so I can own it at the end of the day.
