It would be a romantics' wet dream though, Favre donning a jersey again. One final hurrah that adds complete closure to the now old debacle but also repairs the lingering remains of animosity from the fan base.

It would be beautiful, if he is average/above/serviceable. And goes out giving something back. I'd love to see just one more laser for a touchdown.

Bus Cook reconfirmed Favre is retired, not coming back.

Most logical move is Promote Scott Tolzien. He stands six three.
