2008 and 2009 are the two best, in my opinion.

Jordy Nelson, Josh Sitton, and Jermichael Finley all came from the '08 draft. That's a remarkable haul. Clay Matthews, B.J. Raji, T.J. Lang, and Brad Jones all came from the '09 draft. That’s another remarkable haul. That's three starters from 2008 and four from 2009. I see only two definitive starters from 2012.

2013 is a promising class, but it’s still under evaluation.

As for this year, Lacy is impressive, but length of career, etc. will have a lot to do with how much of a success he is. Other than that, I don't know - Datone Jones sure hasn't shown much, not a bust yet, but a disappointment so far. Bakhtiari is about what you would expect from a 4th rounder, decent but nothing special so far. Franklin has been a real disappointment up to now. Hyde? Pleasant surprise, but I'm not sure he has much upside. Palmer? Barrington? Maybe is about the best I can say. Did I forget anybody?

All in all, I would grade this years draft about B- up to now anyway - OK but nothing special.
