Good. I never liked the idea of getting Seneca Wallace. We shoulda kept Vince Young instead.

If, HEAVEN FORBID, something happened to Aaron Rodgers, certainly nobody would be an adequate replacement. However, Tolzien would have a better chance as a short-term stand-in than Wallace. And from his own point of view, where better to learn the craft than from MM and watching Aaron Rodgers?

Smart move by Tolzien.

He should be paying the Packers for the opportunity to learn under Mike. QB school could make his career.

As for Seneca, he could get us through games. He's not gonna put the team on his back, but he could run the WCO. Of course they'd have to adhere to fundamentals to help him out.

Living in the Bay Area, I got nothing but Niners games.

Last year, Tolzien played TREMENDOUS football. This year, Harbaugh insisted on having him compete with Colt McCoy, and he constantly shuffled the two QB's rather than gjve them a good amount of time taking snaps.

IMO, Tolzien outplayed McCoy with what little they had, but their 3rd stringer B.J. Daniels, who is pretty much a fatter Kaepernick, made Tolzien expendable.

This guy is gonna be better than Matt Flynn if he sticks. Is that saying much? Probably not, but I wouldn't feel as bad if he were the #2 guy next year.
