Looking at our remaining schedule, we have our toughest games coming up this Sunday against BAL away, along with DAL away on Dec. 15th.
The Giants are always tough to beat on their own turf (Nov. 17th), and we do have the Falcons at Lambeau Dec. 8th. But, both of those teams look to be in complete disarray. Same for PIT (at Lambeau Dec. 22nd). And, we'll have to make sure we take care of Vick and PHI on our home turf Nov. 10th. The Vikings suck. The Bears suck. And, the Lions suck.
If we are able to hit it big these next 4 games, @BAL, CLE, @ MIN and CHI, maybe running the table is within our reach. We'll have to stay healthier than we have been, but our OL has played fairly well through the first 4 weeks and looks to be solidifying. I've got to say, I'm super impressed with David Bakhtiari. He has done an outstanding job, for a rookie, alongside Sitton protecting Rodgers' backside. Our RBs are looking pretty good, as are our WRs. Offensively, I think we are just starting to find our groove.
Defense is coming on, especially the DL, which should help our secondary who has been playing without arguably their best player from 2012, Casey Hayward. Get Hayward back, maybe have some younger players step up, and stay relatively healthy, and I can see us taking this season to the house 14-2, with an incredible run going into the playoffs.
This next game will be key. See how this team fares without Matthews. Will they regress, or will some of these players seize the opportunity to show their wares and help take us over the hump back to a winning record? If we beat BAL, and I think we very well could, this could get really interesting... I'm hoping, in a really good way!
Ah, something to think about. Just look at that schedule.
