Considering I can't even think of the name of the 3rd stringer who now has the reigns in Buffalo I am pretty sure Brett at 44 is an upgrade. Would this push back his HoF induction if it he would play for a partial season?

The Bills just announced they are promoting their practice squad qb and he is starting the next game. He will be the first undrafted qb to start a game (I thought that is what ESPN said).

Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Acquired by Buffalo from the Detroit Lions on August 25, 2013 via trade for LB Chris White. Lewis spent the 2011-12 seasons on the Practice Squad and 53-man roster of the Cleveland Browns. He started the Browns’ 2012 regular season finale against Pittsburgh and completed 22-of-32 passes for 204 yards with a touchdown and an interception.

The 6-2, 219-pound Duke product entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the St. Louis Rams in 2010 and was a member of the team’s Practice Squad his rookie season
