Sam is proving he can take on the #1's, I see no reason not to let him try this week.

Packers can always adjust if he needs help.

Just think of the fun Dom can have if he doesn't have to dbl team Johnson all game.

The blitz possibilities are endless!!!!!

I think we will see it on and off, but with Bush in their backfield - they will have to account for him as well. The way they have been running, I would imagine blitzing will be a bit on the conservative side, saved mostly for obvious passing situations. I would guess we will see containment as a priority up front.

This game will be a big test for our D. If they can keep them out of the endzone - then this game should be pretty one sided. They are having injury issues in their secondary, so there should be many opportunities for the passing game.

(On a side note - sounds like a good fantasy week for our receivers.)

You either have to get great pressure or their QB or double Johnson, which they'll probably do with Shields and Burnett IMO.


As far as RB Bush, tell McMillian and/or Hyde they're playing LB this week and ask/tell them to shaddow or spy or follow Bush. He's basically a WR anyways (who's become better at running between the Ts in the last two or three years).

So instead of the nickel guy covering the middle they're covering Bush. And if they go to a very pass happy set then maybe the Packers will go to dime even. And when Jim Schwartz has a speed back, expect misdirection. He seems to love it... so all the blockers will go way to get the defense to go that way and the RB will go the other. (something the Packers might want to try with Franklin if they're facing an overly agressive defensive).
