Stretch runs are available against Rams. Up the middle is a no no.

On 3rd and longs I've seen some set-ups where they take their 4 DL and clear out the middle, no one between the two OGs ... they're attacking the pass and daring you to run... I don't know if the Packers got the guys to execute this.... but if you can hold them just for a second and get that Centers hat on the MLB ... with a quick/fast RB who waste no motion, that might be 10+ yards right there.
Of course, I agree with you on normal plays.
Also does anyone know what the hell was up with the Packers 3rd and long play against the 49ers? ... they kept running that same damned play... throw it to left WR who's running a crossing route and trying to set up a screen as the ones on the right were supposed to block for him... it failed every time and we kept going back to it? ... it was annoying the crap outta me.
