I cannot understand why McCarthy refuses to ever call a QB Sneak. Time after time, we get to watch the Packers attempt to convert short yard situations, and what do we see? Either a HB or FB Dive. We saw what happened today, and we know the lack of success the Packers have had in the past.

A sneak play is not dangerous to the QB's health. Everyone is bunched together, so no one is getting a forceful hit on the QB. I can't recall a single time someone has gotten hurt trying to sneak the ball.

You see the Patriots use the sneak and it seems to always work. So why doesn't McCarthy follow suit?

Normally it's gonna be Eddie Lacy up the gut. Ain't gonna be a problem.

I'm not even considered about the fumble. it's the fact that he was gonna come up short regardless. It was 4th and inches. Rodgers would have only had to basically lean forward and get it.

It's just been a pet peeve of mine

I think he's afraid because I believe Rodgers got a concussion on a sneak against washington in 2010 (they said he got it on the last play but I'm not sure I believe it). I don't have numbers but it seems to me we haven't done them very much since that season.

Because of that fact... it's Aaron Rodgers. His offensive line let him get beat up all day long. He didn't need to do much more, and the fact MM didn't choose Franklin to run it up the gut had no sense to me written all over it. Had our offensive line been so easy to go against though, this issue wouldn't be there.

First off Rodgers seemed to be off his game today.

But there was a couple of times where the Bengals left the middle of the field wide open and Rodgers could of gotten a 8+ yard run but he was looking down field and didn't see it.

The Bengals defense and turn overs kills the Packers.

In all honesty, it sucks but isn't that how the NFL goes? It's so hard to get all the pieces together.
