49ers were the better team. Although, I can't help think what a difference Casey Hayward and Morgan Burnett could have made. I think with those two, maybe Boldin only gets 8 catches for 142 yards.

Although I feel the 49ers were the better team and the refs had virtually no impact, that was a push off by Boldin on the 4th and 2 play in the 4th quarter, and Bush was held twice on Kaep's big scramble.

The silver lining that I seen.. the Packers late established a physical run game in the last TD drive.. if they can build on that, it will make this team start to fulfill MM marching orders to become more physical intimidating team.

No excuses here...we entered a heavyweight battle and came up a bit short. I think our defence played much more physical than last year and the tackling for the most part was solid hard hits.
Jordy came back with a vengeance...sure hands and excellent field awareness. Aaron excellent as always but his protection is more of the same from last season. How many high draft choices have we wasted without getting solid production. I'm really thinking we need a coaching shakeup on the oline...we just can't get it done. Tiny or nonexistent holes to run through and a heavy QB pressure on a three man hail mary rush...WTF.
Special teams...gut the coaching staff there also...another year... another three ring circus on special teams. What a comedy of errors...we can be more prepared to play special teams. There was a flag on almost every kick...and Ross...he should be coached smarter than that...
Overall i think were in for another great competitive season of Packer Football...Bring on the Redskins!!!

The Niners played a better game. That's different than saying they are a better team. We play 'em ten times, we will win 6 or 7. Yeah, our O Line is awful; Yeah, even though our D played better, they are not up to the level of the Niners; But even though Kaepernick is damn good (especially the games against the Packers), Aaron Rodgers is so much better that he makes the overall Packers team equal or better than the Niners - and it's absolutely between us and them for best in the NFL.

"Best" team? I dunno. Despite the last two games, I'm not sure who the best team will be at the end of the year. It's only week one, after all.

Right now, though:

1. I'm not sure the Packers can beat San Francisco without playing their best.
2. San Francisco beat GB without playing their best (see run game).
3. Based on 1. and 2., I would say that SF is _better_ at the moment.

Fortunately for GB, "better in week 1" isn't what matters. "Better in weeks 17 and later" is what matters.

So, in your eyes, we beat them 6-7 times out of 10? Well, we're already 0-3. So, we win out the next 7? Wow.

Maybe we are not watching the same games.

IMO Kaepernick has a perfect situation -- a great OL, a solid running game, and a coach who knows how to maximize his skill set. While Rodgers may have the third, he doesn't have anything approaching the first and doesn't yet have the second.

But as far as skill sets go, IMO, he's not close to Rodgers. Kaepernick is an above-average quarterback made into a good one by the fortune of his situation. Rodgers is an All-Pro reduced to merely above-average by his.

Kinda getting tired of hearing how GREAT Colin K is when he's started what 11 games? Reminds me of the hoopla over Cam Newton.
