I couldn't agree more GCB. Well said. I think he has to make this roster. Sam Barrington will make the Packers a better team. I can't say the same for Lattimore.

We've got a bunch of fringe players in two groups:
1. New players with great potential (Palmer, Barrington, Mulumba, Manning, Smith, Bostick, Banjo, Boyd, Lewis, Walker

and

2. Players who are near their peak who have been in the system for 2-3 years (Francois, Lattimore, Moses, MD Jennings, Ryan Taylor, DJ Williams, Davon House, Jeremy Ross)

Looking at the two groups, I'd feel way more comfortable going with the newer one (1) vs. the older one (2).

It is funny, I don't really think of Hawk as a "run stuffer". He seems more like a: chase-after-the-runner-and-catch-up-to-him-after-he-has-made-a-big-play-and-slows-down-to-juke-another-defender-or-to-catch-his-breath tackler. But run stuffer works too.
